8 things i think are mostly accurate about myself but will most likely be slightly but unknowingly edited by my own perception.

1/ the reason i say ‘blue out’ after everything is firstly because i call myself blue in all my computer games and any website that hasn’t already taken it. Secondly because the news posts on my favourite web comic ‘enny arcade’ all end with the respective character name of the person who made the post. The reason i don’t use it as a signature is because it feels more formal to type it.

2/ I’m a reluctant nihilist, by which i accept the inevitable nothingness and none existence of the afterlife as well as the fact that all human endeavour will eventually be forgotten and all evidence of it destroyed when the universe is extinguished by either heat death or gravity death. I also agree that we can have no objective moral truths and no action has any more merit than another. However, my reluctance comes from me denying that life is pointless. I believe that life consists of many micro points that are none objectively defined by our society and own perception. My only link to pointlessness is the denial of any great, greater or final point to a person or the entirety or humanity.

3/ though i am a huge player and fan of computer games i can honestly say i’m not very good at most of them. A friend of mine completed final fantasy 9 in 3 days. I love final fantasy 9. I can say without a shadow of doubt that it is the best one but it still took me nine months. I usually have to get tips for completing Zelda games. Honestly, even the game i play most, monster hunter, i’m not great at. But still, this does not make the games any less fun and if anything it extends the time i get to enjoy them. People who complete a really fun game to quickly get minimal enjoyment from it.

4/ i prefer co-op to Vs. I just like computer game team spirit. Not the normal kind.

5/ i have no idea what naruto is........or hellsing or trigun or that one where there all dressed in those cloudy red cloaks and one guy has like a orange visor mask that looks this the iris on stargate, i dunno. I don’t watch anime or anything but that doesn’t mean i don’t want to. I just don’t know where it is.

6/ i can never understand accents. Even people within my own country i struggle to understand a lot of their accents. My girlfriends’ dad is from the same county as me and his accent is so thick i have no idea what the man’s saying. Smile and nod. Smile and nod.

7/ i have recently learned that arguing with my sister is redundant as we can never reach a conclusive point as she never actually takes in the information i’m saying and think about it, she simply yells back. On the occasions when i’m so obviously right that she can’t possibly argue back (happens a lot) she simply leaves the room and slams the door. My conclusion, just don’t argue back. If she’s stupid, just tell her she’s wrong and that is the end of the matter. Don’t reply. Don’t retort. Just leave her to stew in the lack of reaction to react to. On some occasions i just don’t speak at all. Works harmoniously. I have also learned that a hollow apology and letting her think she’s won can be the easiest way of getting her out of my face. Sisters, bah!

8/ i am the reason babies seemingly cry for no reason at night.
